lorrainecooks.com is the website of Lorraine Cooks, which is published by AshYT. "Lorraine Marino" is the author persona of the book and videos. You can write to us at lorraine@lorrainecooks.com.
If you ask for the free chapter by email, the site takes your email address. It is kept by our email service, Brevo, and used to send you the chapter and an occasional note about cooking for one or about the book. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list for good.
Purchases are handled by Stripe and its payment service Link, which sell the book on our behalf as the reseller: they take the payment, collect any sales tax or VAT, and send your receipt. Your card or wallet details go to Stripe and never to us. Stripe passes us your name, your email address and what you bought, so that we can deliver your book and answer your questions, and our email service, Brevo, sends you the link to your download. Stripe's and Link's own privacy policies describe how they handle your information.
This site uses no advertising cookies and no tracking scripts. The links in our videos carry one word that says which link it was (for example the code on screen or the link in the description), so we can see which one helps people find the book; it says nothing about you and is not kept in your browser. While a sale is on, your own browser keeps one date, the day your sale price ends, so the page can show you the right price; that date stays in your browser and is not sent to us. The fonts come from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's standard connection details when a page loads. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps ordinary technical logs to keep the site running and safe.
We never sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with the services named above, and only to run the site, the store and the emails.
You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. You can also write to us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and we will do it promptly.
This site and our book are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
